We were able to hang out for a while and just see the beautiful scenery all around us. We sailed into Croker Passage and entered the Gerlache Strait and followed the shores of Brabant Island. During our sailing we saw more penguins, and some seals and even a few whales! You could see penguins jumping onto and off the icebergs and swimming in the water!
We continued to sail passed Cuverville Island and through Neumayer Channel. We had some served hot chocolate and then later on they brought our warm vegetarian sausage rolls! Although I still don't see how you can have vegetarian and sausage together! The views were amazing and when you look at the scenery from behind the ships, the sun just set on the mountains in beautiful ways!
I spent the morning going from the crow's nest to the sports deck to take pictures! Everywhere you looked there was something amazing to see!

You could see the deep blue ice surrounding the icebergs and if you looked carefully you could see down into the water!
The Chilean Station was surrounded by penguins (the little black dots in the pictures)! They were easy to spot from the salmon colored snow aka Penguin Poop!
We passed by the Chilean Station and the scientists from the station came out and waved their flag from the top of the building!

We passed grand ships as we cruised passed the Argentinean Station!
At 12:45 every day the captain comes on and gives us information about our trip! Here is what he said today:

So for the rest of today and overnight we will continue to sail towards Palmer Station as we cross Drake Passage. We are embarking the Chilean Pilots to navigate the Beagle Channel! Passing huge icebergs and iceberg pools on the way!
That night was the Blue Ice Winter Dinner and Ball. Karen joined us for dinner and we had a really nice time eating and talking. Then afterwards we went to the Queens Lounge for the ball part. It was very well decorated and it was nice to see people having fun!
