Sharm el Sheik, Egypt


Geography: Sharm el Sheik is situated on the Southern tip of the Sinai peninsula in Egypt. The Red Sea boarders the one side and the mountains of Mount Sinai on the other.

What You Must See: Na'ama Bay has long sandy beaches and it filled with shops, restaurants and Sheesha cafes.  Ras Um Sid Cliff links Na'ama Bay to the bay of Sharm El Maya and is famous for its coral reefs and very high cliff.
Historical Fact: Mount Sanai is a scenic group of peaks close to Sharm el Sheikh, with religious significance and many winding pathways where Moses received the Ten Commandments.  Also there is the famous Burning Bush, with biblical origins, which is renowned for being the site when God first spoke to Moses.  

Science Fact: Sharm is known for its sulphur springs, which is considered to be a cure for those suffering from rheumatic and skin diseases. 

Fun Fact: Sharm El Sheikh has been known as The City of Peace.  

Interesting Fact: Sharm is known for the most beautiful and famous deep-sea diving paradises in the world.
